COLUMBUS, Ohio – Franklin County Auditor-Elect Michael Stinziano announced today that former state representative Otto Beatty Jr. and veteran real estate agent Lucy Wolfe will serve as co-chairs of the office’s transition team.
The two bring a wealth of knowledge about central Ohio and its communities.
Beatty is a well-known and respected public servant who served 18 years as a state representative, where he worked to address the issues and concerns of constituents and protected the disadvantaged. He was the chairman of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health and is a former president of the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association. He is an attorney at Otto Beatty Jr. & Associates.
Wolfe is an experienced real estate agent serving several neighborhoods across the county. She has co-authored the book A Historic Guidebook to Old Columbusand has served with numerous community organizations, including a neighborhood area commission, a former board member of the Columbus Historical Society, a former board member of the Rickenbacker Woods Foundation, the Chic Harley Memorial Garden Board and the Columbus Metropolitan Club.
“I want to thank Otto and Lucy for their valued help as we build a Franklin County Auditor’s Office that serves our county with innovation and excellent service. Their incredible knowledge and experience will ensure we have the absolute best talents and resources to have an office that will make our county the best place to live and work,” Stinziano said.
Auditor-Elect Stinziano will take office on March 11.

As Franklin County Auditor, Stinziano plans to build on his record of serving the community by working in a bipartisan manner to bring the office into the 21stcentury with new ideas and innovations.
He resides in the University Community with his wife, Caroline, their two children, Cooper and Riley, and their two rescue pugs, Wrigley and Fenway.
